Changing everyday places into spooky, shadowy spots that you're a little unsure about venturing into...
And making you really appreciate the dashes of colour you stumble across in the white, white, landscape.
But I'm slightly bored with it all now, and would be quite happy for life to return to normal. However... Big excitement! I've just seen the postman walk up the street. Maybe he'll bring me something nice. Like snowshoes.

We've only a sprinkling of snow here in Glasgow -I don't know whether to be pleased or sad!
Yesterday it didn't stop snowing all day, Myra, on top of what we already had on Friday. No sign of a thaw yet. I can mail you some!
Still snowbound in my little Sussex village - meant I missed my zumba but the consolation is more writing time!
And were they!??! My postie never brings me anything exciting! Sigh! LOL!
Awwww I love the snow!! But yeah, I too think "nuff already"!! Where's spring!?!
Take care
x
Wendy, sorry to hear about the zumba!
Old Kitty, no he didn't bring snowshoes. He did bring a brochure about Arvon courses though. I shall read it later, although I don't think I can afford them. Roll on spring!
I love snow and winter but the south seems to be getting most of it this year! Love your shadows photo.
Gosh, Rosemary, since I posted this it's started snowing again!
Aw Harvey looks as if he's enjoying the snow :-) I love your pics, especially the one through the gate - very atmospherey :-)
We've still loads of snow, but thankfully once we got to the main roads, we were able to get to the vet's today. It's not showing any signs of going - bah! x
Oh, another vet visit, Teresa... Hope Indy is keeping his chin up
Cute! Wish we had more snow :-)
Be careful what you wish for, Hayley!
Hi Joanne. Looking out of my study window, across the gardens backing on to mine, I can the houses where the snow has gone from the roofs already - sign of poor insulation!
I too am bored and now want normality back. Harvey seems quite OK with it all.

Our snow has already melted.
Hi Bazza. Despite the snow I have been far too hot in our house since we had the loft insulated! Phew - yes, normality please.
Patsy - lucky you!
I love that splash of colour, Joanne. And I felt the same thrill yesterday when I heard the postman's van sliding about on our very icy lane. Digging out our cars wasn't fun and everywhere looks grubby and bleak instead of white and frosted now.
It's nice to see evidence of civilisation isn't it, Joanna! Still quite white here, and with a bit of blue sky above, it's looking very pretty.
Nothing makes you appreciate color like too much snow.
Ha ha. You're over snow, I"m over heat. Normal is nice.
Laraine, I am really appreciating our British red post box at the end of the street!
Denise, a few of us at work are tennis fans, and we were talking yesterday about the reports from the Australian Open of too much heat!
Hope you don't need snowshoes again till next year, Joanne.
Oh, me too! But I've bought new wellies, just in case!
I've never lived where there is snow - so it is all kind of alien to me!
Sam
Oh, Sam, I cannot imagine what it would be like with no snow!
